This car was purchased in 1950 by Joseph J Cole, grandson of the Company founder to serve as a parts car to support the several Coles which were stored in the basement of the Cole Factory on Washington St. The seller purchased the car in 1991, finding several parts had been removed for use on other cars and much of the body wood had deteriorated. It received a complete restoration from 1995 to 2001 with the missing instruments and parts either purchased or fabricated and with replacement of most of the body wood .
