This car was a test car for suspension technology and the Royal Sedan and is one of the last Coles known to survive. It is powered by a 346 ci flat head V8. In 1924, the company started liquidation so there were not an abundance of cars made. This was later used by the family to drive to school and the sticker on the window was put there originally by the family. The car spent about 10+ years on display at the Haynes Apperson auto museum in Kokomo, Indiana. It was in storage at the Cole Motor Car factory building basement until a collector acquired this and other Cole Cars from the family. The car was used in a Great Race in the late 1990’s and was said to be used by JJ Cole.
